lets get this started.

So, this is my first post in my first blog.

Even tho' I've always thought about making a blog, I never actually had the time and motivation to start and create one. But since my next exams at the university are not until april, I'm having some spare time, and with a little animation from a good friend, I finally created this blog.

I'm not sure about how I'm going to set it up, but it will contain a variety of topics, such as:
  • different workouts
  • motivation
  • diets and fitness recipes
  • generell gym stories and personal thoughts

To start off, I'm going to introduce me, and give you a little insight of what I do, and why.

My name is Alex.
I'm 21 years old, living in and coming from Vienna, Austria.
I'm studying International Business Economics at the Vienna University of Business and Economics and I work as a paramedic.
When I'm not at the university, working or spending some quality time with my girlfriend (of almost 3y), I enjoy going to and entering the world of my gym.

About one year ago, I got my first gym membership. In the first 6 months I wasn't all that dedicated, and was working mostly with machines and doing cardio. I still like doing cardio (especially swimming) often, my asthma got way better since. Anyway, recently I've started working out "right". So whats working out "right", one might ask. In my opinion, there's no "right" in generel. Every person, every man or woman, has different goals, different wishes, desires etc., and therefore, a different way to get there. Still, there are a lot of "worse" and "better" things to do when working out, no matter what you're trying to achieve. So we'll talk about that later.

I'm going to talk about what made me start work out in my next blog post. Also what motivated me in the first place, and stuff that still motivates me now. Hopefully I'll be able to catch a cam and make some current "progress" pictures.

As this is my very first blog, I really appreciate any sort of help or tips. Don't hesitate and just comment here if you want to help me!

Regards,
Alex
